- The Psychology of Working: Expanding our Vision to Affirm Race and Culture
- In this DVD accompanying his book of the same name, Dr. Blustein explores the social justice implications of the psychology of working and the role of race and culture. He presents new perspectives for working across multiple contexts. The career development field has created a rich array of interventions that help people make career choices, but tends to ignore certain groups and key issues. Career theory and practice have not systematically provided an inclusive model that includes everyone that works. To redress this theory/practice gap, Blustein presents a more inclusive approach - the psychology of working perspective. Race and culture are explored in relationship with specific implications for research, theory, and practice.
